Born in 1964, Argentinian-Italian Juan Tallo is a multi media artist.
He opened his Buenos Aires photography studio in 1990.
He has worked since then as an Advertising Photographer, Cinematographer and Visual Arts Consultant.
While completing his degree in Architecture (Universiy of Buenos Aires / Faculty of Architecture), he started his training in photography in 1985.
Capturing life through a camera stimulated his imagination.
As partner and CEO of Tallo & Torres Advertising Photography, he worked with medium- and large-format film cameras untill his studio introduced the first highend studio digital camera in South America. Tallo & Torres became one of the most sought after, cutting edge studio for numerous projects, including architecture, industrial, products shots, people, corporate comercials and aerial photography.
His work for an advertising campaign for Image Bank Argentina was recognized as a Finalist of Graphic Photography in the London International Festival.
In 1999, he won a Special Award in Architectural Photography from La Nacion Newspaper and his work was exhibited in the National Museum of Fine Arts.
His work was also shown at the Advertising Photographers of America, Photo 12 Awards in Los Angeles.
His trained eye and fine sense of composition -honed by his background in architecture- make for a rare combination of visual sensibilities.
He moved to Los Angeles, California in 1999, where he also especilizes in digital image manipulation, digital printing and direction of photography for documentaries.
