Lighting Sculptures

These pieces are "Functional Art".
You can use them to create an atmosphere, illuminate a space, highlight a specific area, enjoy as an art piece or all of the above!
The following interactive thumbnails show different projects for
specific clients and some one-of-a-kind exclusive pieces.
All the sculptures are made using basically noble materials (handmade recycled papers, aged wood, concrete and aluminum.)
Some of them have a very unique on-off switch, like a radio frequency remote switch, and soft touch three-intensity dimmers.
Each piece comes with a personalized Certificate of Authenticity.
In order to better understand the 3-D shapes, there are some virtual reality spin object movies at the end of the page. I will be adding more as soon as I shoot them!
Basically for each sculpture you will find a front view, side view and top view photo. You'll also see the aproximate measurements and weight of each piece.
These designs may be customized to any specific need.
Please contact me for any questions about the pieces or any specific customized design.
Thanks!

BIO:
Born in 1964, Argentinian-Italian Juan Tallo is a true Renaissance man.
While completing an Architectural degree in Buenos Aires, he started his training in photography in Argentina.
Capturing life through a camera stimulated his imagination.
But back in 1996 he began yet another path of exploration: searching for the delicate balance between form, function, art, light and space which resulted in his “Lighting Sculptures.” These pieces instantly attracted a lot of attention.
A unique choice of materials, textures and light combine to create unique pieces where tension, equilibrium, peacefulness and simplicity embark in a joyful play of transparencies and shadows.
He moved to Los Angeles in 1999, where his quest to reveal even more about the silent battle between function and aesthetics continues. This new cultural context is reflected in his work, which has become as eclectic as his life experiences.
His Lighting Sculptures has been acquired by several prestigious architectural and photographic studios in Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as by many international companies
